A blockchain software developer is required for a 4-5 month contract to assist our client in building decentralized applications to run on private blockchains. The role will include development of smart contracts, development of interactive front-end designs, backend related tasks pertaining to the specific blockchain, and communicating with the developers to ensure a seamless operation with the main software product.
The role also requires the blockchain software developer to advise the client on the pros and cons of specific private blockchains. An understanding of cryptographic hash functions, consensus and distributed ledger technology are mandatory. An in-depth understanding of data structures relating to blockchains is essential. Network specific languages like Solidity, Viper and Chaincode would be advantageous.
Working in an office environment is required.
